  11. I've got a SupraFax 288 attached to my home computer, a homebuilt P133
  12. with 24 Megs, running both Win95 and WinNT.  I can't get it to use
  13. compression under NT but it works fine under 95.  I'm dialing into
  14. Supras, MultiTechs, and Zypcoms and I know that they all are set up to
  15. use compression because I set them up myself and they work from 95.
  16. I've tried editing the modem.inf file but this causes errors in the
  17. RAS dialer.  I've tried forcing compression on and writing it to
  18. memory but am still connecting without compression.  
  19. I'm sure I'm missing something basic here but if anyone has a solution
  20. I would love to hear it.
  21. BTW, I've also had the same problem with a Motorola Power and a
  22. Motorola Lifestyle using an earlier build of NT, I haven't checked
  23. them with the 1057 build.
